Nature contained in test tubes still proliferates. Life always finds the cracks through which to expand. So does light.

Located in the Poblenou Central Park, "A Nature" addresses the concept of nature created by man while questioning our relationship with the natural environment at a time when it is significantly invaded by all kinds of forms of human control, such as urban expansion, deforestation, biotechnological manipulation or the exploitation of natural resources.

Human ambition to conquer and dominate is excessive and has no boundaries, which leads us to challenge the limits of the natural world more and more.

"A nature" is an artificial landscape that represents such control by encapsulating light inside a tube. The creation of an artificial elevated and imprisoned nature emphasizes the genetical manipulation and alteration of nature and species. By bottling nature, the installation invites us to rethink and redefine the relationship we establish with the environment.
