Jordi Balló, cinematographic producer, cultural manager and exhibitions director of CCCB from 1998 till 2011, introduced MEATS students to the notion of curatorship as a complex interaction between space, time and narrative. Explaining the creative processes behind the creation of exhibitions like The City of the Film-makers (2001), Erice/Kiarostami: Correspondences (2006), Hammershoi i Dreyer (2007), Pasolini Roma (2013), etc., Jordi Balló explored the diffused limits between art, cinematography and exhibition space and underscored the importance of the dynamic relationship between moving image and space.
